Before joining the WRRC team, Anne worked at the U of A’s Natural Resource Users Law and Policy Center, writing for the Regulatory Round-Up and co-teaching the Agriculture, Environmental and Legal Issues undergraduate course. She has a master’s degree in Natural Resources with an emphasis in Water Conflict Management from Oregon State University. Before returning to academia, Anne worked many years as a conservation planner with The Nature Conservancy. Over the years, she participated in a mix of projects from defining organizational strategies for incorporating climate change into conservation plans to watershed reforestation, protection, and valuation of ecosystem services planning design for enhanced water supply for international water fund collaborations in Mexico and Guatemala. Anne enjoys taiko drumming, rock climbing, and hiking with her dog.
