The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation)

Builds infrastructure, distributes water, and generates hydroelectric power across the Western U.S., including Hoover Dam in Arizona.

The United States Geological Survey (USGS)

Serves as the scientific branch of the U.S. Department of the Interior by studying the nation’s land and natural resources.

The National Parks Service (NPS)

Cares for areas of federally protected land. Arizona is home to more than 20 NPS-managed sites, including the Grand Canyon. 

Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS)

Assists farmers and other landowners in implementing environmental best practices on their land.
