Call for Papers – Due March 8, 2012:
Individuals interested in giving an oral or poster presentation, are invited to submit abstracts on research, monitoring, or restoration being conducted along the Santa Cruz River by Friday March 8, 2013.
We envision that time slots for both invited and contributed oral presentations to be 15 to 20 minutes. A computer and projector will be available for powerpoint. Note: We will reserve oral presentations for projects that are complete or have preliminary results. We encourage poster presentations for projects that either are in the conceptual phase, do not have complete or preliminary results, or are too complex to present in a 20 minute oral presentation.
Please submit abstracts via email to Claire Zugmeyer at czugmeyer@sonoraninstitute.org
Abstract Guidelines: Abstracts will be compiled to produce the annual Proceedings of the event. Abstracts should be a single paragraph, 12-point type, single-spaced, and the body of the abstract no more than 300 words. Use all capital letters to designate the presenter’s name. Please include an affiliation for each author. Abstracts should be short and informative. Authors alone are responsible for correct spelling and grammar. Other than italics for scientific names, do not use any formatting such as tabs, bold, etc. In addition to the proceedings, pdf copies of posters and presentations will be archived on the Sonoran Institute website.
