Registration for the 2018 WRRC's Annual Conference, "The Business of Water", opens next week. Our new agenda, linked below, includes some exciting additions.
Water is everyone's business and the business of water affects everyone. At the conference, we will explore the many facets of our topic, focusing on key questions. How will water exchanges, transfers, and market-based transactions figure into our water future? What is the role of the private sector, including public-private partnerships? What factors and forces influence what we pay for water? In addition, consider participating in our WRRC Poster session as a way to share your water research and projects with elected officials, water municipalities, and water users from throughout the region. Find more information on the poster submissions and the student poster contest in the article below.
Please join us on March 28 at the University of Arizona Student Union as we consider these complex and dynamic issues, vital to the reliability, security, and cost of our future water supplies.
