The spring issue of the WRRC's Arizona Water Resource quarterly newsletter was published and emailed to subscribers this week. This AWR features an article recapping the main themes explored in the WRRC's 2017 annual conference, Irrigated Agriculture in Arizona: A Fresh Perspective, held March 28 at the UA Student Union Memorial Center in Tucson. The conference offered a diversity of speakers and panels covering the range of issues facing irrigated agriculture in Arizona, and the AWR articles hit many of the highlights. Also in this issue is a Special Feature on the making of the Arizona Water Map poster that has just been completed after more than a year of collaborative planning, creating, and revising. Along with the usual sections on news and resources, this AWR presents WRRC Director Sharon B. Megdal's Public Policy Review column noting the many activities and accomplishments that filled her spring.
