
The Water Resources Research Center (WRRC) is pleased to announce that Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs will be offering keynote remarks at our upcoming annual conference, Shared Borders, Shared Waters: Working Together in Times of Scarcity, which will be held May 20–21 at the University of Arizona Student Union Memorial Center in Tucson, AZ. Governor Hobbs will be speaking during the Luncheon Program on May 21.

Day 2 of the WRRC 2025 Annual Conference (May 21) will provide insight into cross-border water sharing, beginning with a keynote address on “Infrastructure, Investment, and Binational Collaboration,” followed by two morning sessions: Water Security and Trade and Water Challenges and Funding.

U of A Grad Students Can Apply for IALC Scholars Award
International and domestic graduate students from the University of Arizona whose studies focus on identifying solutions to food, land, and/or water challenges in semi-arid lands are eligible to apply for the International Arid Lands Consortium (IALC) Scholars Award. The deadline to apply for the scholarship is June 30, 2025.
