This second assessment of wetland conditions along the Lower Santa Cruz River provides a summary of the initial improvements after the upgrade of the two wastewater reclamation facilities that release effluent into the river. The report highlights improved aquatic habitat, improved water clarity, and increased infiltration along the stretch of the river from Tucson to Marana, AZ.
