My Arizona Lecture: "The Landscape that Connects Us" - Laura Lopez Hoffman

The 2015 annual My Arizona Lecture will be presented by Dr. Laura Lopez Hoffman, assistant professor at the School of Natural Resources, and assistant research professor at the Udall Center for Public Policy Studies at the University of Arizona. The lecture will address the unique role that our landscapes in southern Arizona play at the ecological crossroads of North America. 
 
Dr. Hoffman is primarily interested in the ecology and policy of managing transboundary systems. Her current work focuses on the surface waters, aquifers, species, ecosystems and ecosystem services shared by the United States and Mexico.  She obtained her PhD from Stanford University in biology and her BA from Princeton University in ecology, public policy and Latin American studies.
