Please join the UA Water Sustainability Program (WSP) on Friday, April 18 from 4:30 to 6 p.m., when the WSP Student Fellows will present hightlights from their research undertaken over this academic year. Presentations will be held at the UA Water Resources Research Center (350 N. Campbell Ave.) in the Sol Resnick Conference Room.

These outstanding students worked on a wide range of topics -- all relevant to water issues in Arizona -- exemplifying the high-quality research programs at the University of Arizona, including:

·         monsoon variability

·         phytostabilization of mine tailings

·         water demand in the San Pedro watershed

·         drinking water quality along the US-Mexico border

·         water infrastructure planning

·         the water-energy nexus

·         water quality and recharge

·         use of recycled water for algal biofuel production
