The 4th Annual University of Arizona Food Safety Conference will be held Friday, Oct. 11 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Omni Tucson National Resort in Tucson, Ariz. Sponsored by the UA Food Safety Consortium, the 2013 conference includes a number of distinguished speakers representing growers, processors and safety regulators from a diverse array of food industries.

Researchers attending the workshop will have the opportunity to interact with stakeholders and learn about current food and water safety concerns and research needs.

The conference also includes a poster session presentation highlighting current research into food safety. Top posters will receive valuable cash prizes. Click here for information on poster submissions.

Early registration rates of $65 run through Sept. 15, after which regular registration rates of $85 apply through Oct. 1. Students may register for just $35. Registration includes a continental breakfast and a full lunch and dinner, as well as access to all talks and the poster session.
