Water Sustainability Program Releases Research Highlights

The University of Arizona Water Sustainability Program (WSP) recently released a summary of of its funded water-related research in a four-page insert within the Water Resources Research Center's (WRRC) Summer 2013 Arizona Water Resource newsletter. WSP is partnering with the Institute of the Environment and the Renewable Energy Network through the TRIF Water, Environmental and Energy Solutions (WEES) initiative to provide seed grants for new interdisciplinary research. Projects cross over a wide range of topic areas, including water quality, water and energy, and water management. WSP also provides research opportunities for students through its fellowship program (featured in the insert) to encourage and support outstanding students working on projects relevant to Arizona water issues.
