The UA Water Network continues to build cross-campus connections among water programs and experts at University of Arizona. Most recently, the program produced a large-format poster for display at many departments and centers around UA. It highlights the numerous water-related themes that are a focus for research at UA, including drought, climate, environment, management, and quality. With more than 280 UA faculty and researchers specializing in topics related to water, the poster provides an at-a-glance view, giving students and visitors a better understanding of UA’s breadth and renowned expertise in the field of water research and technology innovation.  The poster also directs people to the UA Water Network website (water.arizona.edu) for a more in-depth exploration of events, activities, departments, centers, and programs.

The UA Water Network also fosters the UA collegial community through its recently updated listserv.  This list serve emphasizes “notice of deadlines” so that students, researchers, faculty and the broader UA water community don’t miss opportunities. Through the list serve, information is shared regarding extended learning opportunities, grants, jobs, conferences, and internships of particular interest to those working in water.  To join the listserv, please click here.

The UA Water Network is a Water, Environmental, and Energy Solutions (WEES) effort, supported by University of Arizona Technology and Research Initiative Funds.
