Arizona Project WET (APW) is proud to announce that the kickoff of its highly anticipated "Nature of Groundwater" exhibition will be held in the heart of the White Mountains, the first stop on a statewide tour aimed at increasing public awareness and understanding of groundwater’s vital role in Arizona’s water future. This interactive mobile exhibit is sponsored by the US Environmental Protection Agency.
Visitors to the exhibit will explore groundwater's connection to Arizona’s unique water cycle, observe aquifer models, simulate pollution events, and discover real-world conservation technologies. This hands-on, science-based exhibition will tour eligible rural communities throughout the rest of 2025, offering engaging activities for K–12 students and professional development for teachers, as well as interactive community displays that illuminate how groundwater functions, how it is threatened, and how we can protect this precious resource.
