Dr. William (Bill) Alley is Director of Science and Technology for the National Ground Water Association. Previously, he served as Chief, Office of Groundwater for the US Geological Survey for almost two decades. Dr. Alley and his wife, Rosemarie, have co-authored four general interest environmental science books; most recently, "The Water Recycling Revolution: Tapping into the Future." Rosemarie Alley is a freelance writer with extensive writing and public speaking experience. As a writing team, Bill provides the scientific expertise and Rosemarie makes it interesting and understandable for the general reader.
