The Arizona Riparian Council 27th Annual Meeting will be held October 2-3, 2014 at Riverpark Inn in Tucson. The theme this year is Riparian Protection at the Local Level and the meeting will be co-sponsored with the Arizona Association of Environmental Professionals and the Water Resources Research Center at the University of Arizona.

There will be a poster session running throughout Thursday and Friday morning. There are prizes for student posters, reimbursement for registration and a signed copy of the book Requiem for the Santa Cruz: An Environmental History of an Arizona River for first place. 
The deadline for submitting an abstract is Friday, August 15, 2014.
