One writing sample in PDF
The writing sample may be on any topic, but it should not be a technical report. Word length – not more than 1000 words (Applicants are strongly advised to look at previous WRRC Arroyos at http://wrrc.arizona.edu/publications/arroyo for style.)
- One letter of recommendation from a faculty member familiar with your writing.
The application asks you to list water-related classes and other experience you may have had with water issues. Applicants should also indicate their familiarity with Arizona water and Spanish language proficiency, which are desirable but not required.
You may upload a CV or resume, but lack of a resume will not affect consideration of your application.

Letters of recommendation may be either submitted with the application materials or emailed separately to seden@arizona.edu. Letters emailed separately should include the applicant’s name in the subject line.
Applications are due no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2025.
We expect to have a decision and award the internship by April 26.
If you are selected for the internship, you will be required to provide proof of U of A enrollment for the Fall semester 2025.
