Egyptian Ambassador Featured in Event on Egyptian-American Relations, Climate, and Water

The Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations and the University of Arizona Center for Middle Eastern Studies (CMES), Water Resources Research Center, and the School of Government & Public Policy are co-sponsoring the event, Celebrating 100 Years of Relations Between Egypt and the U.S., featuring Motaz Zahran, Egyptian Ambassador to the United States. After introductory remarks from CMES Director Anne Betteridge, Professor Thomas Vogly and Ambassador Zahran will have a fireside chat about this binational relationship and WRRC Director Sharon B. Megdal will discuss climate and water issues with the Ambassador. The event will start at 6:00 pm on May 10, 2022, following a 5:30 pm reception, and will be livestreamed for registrants who cannot attend in person.
