This WRRC Water Webinar will provide an overview of EPCOR’s presence in Arizona and the communities the utility serves across the state. EPCOR Water Resources Director Doug Dunham’s presentation will highlight the company’s diverse and regionally tailored water resource portfolio, which includes groundwater, surface water, reclaimed water, and storage that support reliability and resilience in multiple service areas. Dunham will discuss how EPCOR navigates Arizona’s evolving regulatory landscape, including the implementation of new management tools, such as the Alternative Pathway to Designation for Assured Water Supply (ADAWS) and the Ag to Urban program. Dunham will outline how these tools shape long-term planning, support compliance, and enable EPCOR to meet the needs of both existing and future customers and address the company’s strategies for serving growth in fast-developing regions. Additionally, Dunham will cover EPCOR’s approach to managing water demand through conservation programs, customer outreach, and rate structures designed to promote efficient use and protect system capacity. Together, these topics will provide a comprehensive look at how EPCOR is planning for Arizona’s water future while ensuring safe, reliable, and sustainable service for the communities it serves.
