ADWR Develops Strategic Vision for Arizona Water Supply Sustainability
The Arizona Department of Water Resources (ADWR) released its Strategic Vision for Water Supply Sustainability in early 2014, which closely analyzes water supply and demand in Arizona. Recent studies – including the Colorado Water River Basin Water Supply and Demand Study – indicate the potential for a long-term gap between water supply and demand in Arizona if no action is taken. ADWR’s Strategic Vision examines potential strategies for water users across Arizona to manage possible future supply challenges.
